ACRYLIC PAINTING WORKSHOP WITH PATRICE JARVIS-WEBER
Treat yourself to a fun and relaxing painting session using the vibrant and bold medium of acrylic paints. Learn how to build your masterpiece by color mixing and layering techniques. Patrice’s classes are designed for all artistic abilities including those new to painting. She provides a welcoming space for participants to have an enjoyable painting experience and will help you bring your art to a finished piece to take home. Many classes are inspired by the Masters. All supplies are provided and no framing is necessary.
In this class students will be inpired by a photograph of an Adirondack lake sunset. We will practice color mixing to achieve a striking and balanced composition and learn how to paint mirrored images on water.

PAINTING SKIES & WEATHER IN ACRYLIC WITH SANDRA JABAUT
The sky is constantly changing as the clouds can be both dark, thick and threatening or as delicate and transparent as a silken cobweb. Sunrise, mid day, sunset, storms, rain, snow and other weather conditions change the color of the sky. Learn acrylic techniques to achieve three separate paintings of different skies and landscapes on watercolor paper and canvas paper. For a more personal painting, bring your own inspirational photographs that depict different landscapes during mid day, sunset and a storm approaching. All levels are welcome. All supplies, photo examples and materials will be provided.

WATER SOLUBLE OIL PAINTING WITH FRED HOLMAN
Let Fred introduce you to Water Soluble Oils. You will experience the flexibility of oil paints without the toxic chemicals associated with oil painting. And sInce the medium is water, cleanup is much easier. You will learn about mixing colors and values using this new medium. Participants will be provided with all materials and will leave with a still life and/or landscape painting.

SILK SCARF PAINTING WITH CAROLYN CORBO
In this workshop each participant will receive a 21”x21’ hemmed habitai silk scarf. You will paint dyes onto the silk and apply silk salt to magically create bursts of vibrant color and patterns. A fun, easy silk painting experience for beginners!
Because the salt needs to be removed and the scarf needs to dry, participants will be able to pick up their finished product at the gallery on Friday or when convenient.

BEGINNING PASTEL WITH WATERCOLOR UNDERPAINTING WITH JOANN QUINLIVIN
In this watercolor/pastel class students will start by drawing a landscape with a pencil, fill in the drawing with watercolor, and then use pastels over areas of the painting.

GYOTAKU (Fish Printing) BY MERRIBETH ELLING
Experience the art of Gyotaku, a centuries-old technique where real fish were used to create one-of-a-kind prints. We will use rubber fish. You will be guided through the process using fabric paint. Bring items to print on (T-shirt, tote bag, fabric napkin). No experience necessary.
