Martin Seelye

Martin has worked in creating high end custom furniture and antique furniture restoration for the past 55 years. He began playing with wood when he was 14 years old. At that time, his first purchase was a wooden lathe acquired with $18 of his allowance. His dad helped him find a motor and set up the lathe in their basement. Thus began his career in woodworking, starting with turning bowls for everyone he knew. As an adult he continued these creative ventures and also joined the family business, Seelye’s Auction Service. Martin lives and works in Queensbury.
